Vacuum lamination is the process of bending and shaping wood laminates, mainly thin plywood, MDF or constructional veneers, in a vacuum press utilising atmospheric pressure to create intricate, curved shapes that would otherwise be difficult, time-consuming, and therefore expensive to manufacture by other means.

By using vacuum pressing on polystyrene moulds, and using our own large vacuum press and 4-axis CNC hot wire cutter, we now offer:

• Flat and Curved Veneering: Including advanced veneer matching for complex projects to create specific visual effects.
• Custom Laminated Panels & Components: Suitable for architectural features, furniture, and high-end joinery.
• Solid Curved Items: Moulds can remain inside the component, allowing more complex structural designs to be achieved, e.g., tapered elliptical table legs.
