The Chilfen Group are thrilled to announce we were awarded two awards at the recent Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards that took place at the spectacular St Albans Cathedral on 8th June. Chilfen Group were announced winners of both the ‘Made in Hertfordshire’ award and the coveted ‘Inspiring Business of the Year’ award and were also named as finalists in the ‘Business of the Year, North Hertfordshire’ award.

The Made in Hertfordshire award recognised Chilfen as a manufacturer that could demonstrate an efficient, innovative and profitable business. Key investments in staff and manufacturing equipment were considered along with innovation within the company, sales performance, potential for growth and the markets we serve. We are pleased to be recognised for our hard work and commitment to building and growing the Chilfen Group, particularly over the last 12 months.

Now in its sixth year, this years’ ceremony was bigger and better than ever with businesses from all over the county competing in a record 19 categories. We are particularly honoured to have won the Inspiring Business of the Year award. All entries across the 19 categories were entered into this award, so to have taken this home is extremely humbling.

The Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards ceremony itself was developed in 2012 as a way to celebrate the achievements of local businesses and their commitment to Hertfordshire. The Awards are designed to be a testimony to Hertfordshire business success, both large and small, and to be an inspiration to others. Chilfen are incredibly proud and honoured to have won the two awards, showcasing our continued commitment to Hertfordshire where our business was founded and has continued to go from strength to strength.
